Job Summary
In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get the chance to develop your skills and gain important professional experience by working on digital marketing campaigns. Our ideal intern candidate has a fundamental understanding of digital marketing practices, social media channels and strong communication skills. Applicants should be current students in a bachelor’s degree program or graduate level business program and have the possibility to do an internship through NSRF.
Duties & Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with digital marketing, creating content (articles/photos/videos), landing pages, social media campaigns and email marketing. We are looking for someone who can contribute to our online marketing efforts by working in a fast-paced business environment which requires excellent communication skills and strong analytic abilities. Our intern will have access to all of our social media channels like, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Detailed job duties include:
- Develop, execute and monitor digital marketing campaigns for the company
- Maintain and update the company’s website content
- Maintain and update the company’s social media channels
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Organizational and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Web Analytics and Online Marketing skills
- Familiarity with marketing software and tools
- Basic understanding of SEO and techniques
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a Bachelor or Master degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Media or similar
- Proficiency in English
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent use and knowledge of Social Media Channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc.)
- Knowledge of WordPress/WooCommerce/Canva/Camtasia desired but not required
